Getting Covered

Report the Breakdown
As soon as your vehicle breaks down, call our 24/7 claims hotline or submit a claim through the online portal. Do not authorize any repairs before contacting us unauthorized repairs will not be covered.

Claim Assessment
A dedicated claims assessor will review your policy, confirm your coverage is active, and verify the reported fault falls within your plan. You will receive a reference number for your claim.

Approved Mechanic Inspection
We will direct you to one of our approved partner mechanics or authorize your preferred mechanic to conduct a diagnostic inspection. The mechanic submits a repair estimate directly to Reliance Auto Plus.

Repair Authorization
Once the estimate is reviewed and approved, we issue a repair authorization to the mechanic. Covered repairs are paid directly to the workshop you pay nothing out of pocket for covered components.

Repair Completion
The approved mechanic completes the repair. You collect your vehicle and sign off on the work. Reliance Auto Plus settles the invoice directly with the workshop.

Claim Closed
Your claim is marked complete. You will receive a digital summary of the repair, parts replaced, and total claim value. Your coverage continues uninterrupted.

- Damage from neglect or improper maintenance
- Cosmetic damage (dents, scratches, paint)
- Claims filed within the 90-day waiting period
- Vehicles modified from factory specification
- Unauthorized repairs not pre-approved by RAP
